Pretty bad day for the overall market yesterday as most stocks ended the day down on some more banking fears. I really do believe many of these banks still have not come clean about all the junk/bad stuff that’s tied up in their banks. But believe me I do think it’ll all come out, and the market is going to react negatively to it..as we saw today when word got out that Bank Of America has a stock pile of bad loans.
For now though, lets focus on some penny stocks that have been greeeeeen lately!
SCON big 150%+ manipulated move we’ve seen the past 2 days on a sketchy PR, was up 50% Monday before the PR was even released yesterday. I’m feeling a like a short play is building up..but don’t be surprised if this shows some more DFR -type strength tomorrow, I’ll like it even better then more strength=better short!
ATCO this little penny stock has a pretty cool swagger going on right now, they’re the leading innovator of LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Devices.) Yea so what is so cool about that? Well, it’s being used to help prevent pirate attacks off the coast of Somalia. Been getting a lot of media coverage so that’s the cause in the recent rise in price. Pretty kewl cool little penny stock, any of you risk takers think this coverage will carry it further?
CAR was on my watch list from yesterday and swung around all over the place ending about even on the day. No news or coverage on the recent spike up so no one knows what’s really up? Pay attention to that 2.00 mark. If it breaks 1.80 this penny stock could get a little tank down to the 1.60 support (yesterday’s low), if it breaks that, then, well you know the drill…
CNXT penny stock has gone 100%+ passed 2 days, reminds me a of SCON ( look up there ^). No news that I can see, UNLESS the earnings got leaked that they’re due to report next Thursday. To quote someone from the lousy yahoo message board : “ITS GOIN TO DA MOOON”…I’m not so sure that I agree. A break of 1.50 and this penny stock could tumble to 1.30..easy.
DFR had an early morning drop yesterday that I didn’t get in on, but shoulda woulda coulda, right? Flatlined the rest of the day, I’m actually surprised we didn’t see a big short squeeze on this sucker? Remember guys this penny stock went up 100’s of % and it ended yesterday down 17%. If you think that’s it, think again. More to come on the downside…hopefully. Look for a break of 4.00 to be a clue of further downside.
FEED I personally don’t like messin’ with this penny stock, but it could be a potential buy here if it breaks 3.68 level intra-day tomorrow. Keep it on watch as alot of people had it short the other day, yet it made a comeback.
KKD pretty fundamental news they had..Krsipy Kreme says they might open 160 stores internationally by 2010. International exspansion..thats what I like to hear. Plus they narrowed their losses this quarter. Even though it may go lower before it goes higher, I’m not a buyer or a short-seller on this penny stock. #1) I like Krispy Kreme donuts. #2) the pattern isn’t as predictable as it is with these other pumps and dumps.
PIR stalled in it’s latest run at the 200 day moving average. Down -14% yesterday…company is going no where right now in this sector and with their earnings losses. Potentially more downside today?
PNX this penny stock has been steady but slowly rising for the past month and half on their TARP situation. Turns out, they’re not getting help with the TARP fund…..watch for a break of 1.50 cause this news could potentially make them a grand short candidate. Methinks it won’t see the lights of 2.00 for a while.
SLTM spike up of 75%+ in 2 days on a horrible down-trending chart only says one two things: potential short! No news, no good earnings, no good company, no nuthin’. BUT I would love this penny stock to go up more though, just to make shorting THAT much easier. It’s looking like 1.40 is some stacked up resistance, let it go higher if it breaks that. If it can’t break it, look for a short play.
RT I don’t like this stock/penny stock. Moves too slow, but hey if that’s your thing then go for a buy/short.
